Van Gogh en Sparkoh
Twee hoogtepunten van de dag.
1. We waren in het Maison Van Gogh waar hij een tijdje gewoond heeft. Natuur, kunst en spiritualiteit stonden centraal in het leven van Vincent van Gogh. "Ik hou van de Aarde", is een van zijn uitspraken. In landschappen verbeeldde Van Gogh ideeën over natuurkrachten, kosmische energie en de nietigheid van de mens tegenover de natuur. Bijzonder in dit verband was dat hij ook een tijdje dominee is geweest. Zijn gaven met kunst uitdrukken bleek uiteindelijk toch meer de weg, die hij moest gaan. Van Gogh zag ook de armoede in dit gebied en de erbarmelijke omstandigheden in de mijnbouw.

2. Uit de as van deze mijnbouw is een omvangrijk museum " Sparkoh" herrezen met aandacht voor wetenschap, natuur en biodiversiteit. Daar kun je wel een dag rond kijken en vooral ook ervaren. Mijn favoriete symbool voor de biodiversiteit op deze Krui-tocht is de regenworm, die je door het glas heen actief aan het werk kunt zien.

Ook uit de tuinen van Sparkoh hebben we een eetlepel aarde meegenomen en een 100 euro briefje geplant.

Dans les paysages, Van Gogh a représenté des idées sur les forces naturelles, l'énergie cosmique et l'insignifiance de l'homme par rapport à la nature. Ce qui était spécial à cet égard, c'est qu'il a également été pasteur pendant un certain temps. Exprimer ses dons à travers l'art s'est finalement avéré être plus la voie qu'il devait suivre.
