Yesterdag we went on the ferry that will bring us to the Faroe Islands. It wasn't allowed for 2 people to enter the ferry by car. So i had to go there by foot. Once inside the ferry i made my way to the cougette. Cougettes are like small public sleeping rooms. When i came in there were like 9 beds on 15 m2. So it was very small. There were already 5 people in. So i decided to drop my stuff and went out to find Geert. After a while i did find him. He was in a totally different cougette on the other side of the hallway. After dropping our stuff, we went to discover the ferry and did find out that the brochure made it look better then it actually was. There was a swimmingpool... But very small and it looked pretty old. There was a room to do some fitness. But it also looked like it wasn't used for ages, so not really inviting. It also wasn't possible to stream movies with the internet on our tablet. So there we were again. Stuck on some stupid ferry for hours and nothing to do. So we went to some bars to have some conversations and we ended up in a bar with live music. After a while some people came sit next to us and we started to talk. Fanny was from zwitserland and did meet Suzanna on the way. She was from the Faroe Islands and going home after her holiday in Norway. We did have a lot of fun talking about nothing and everything. In the end it turned out that Fanny was sleeping in the same cougette as i did. Isn't that a coincedence? At 12 o 'clock Geert and I went to the cinema to see the movie Indenpendence day. After that we were really tired and went sleeping. The next morning it turned out that 2 people left our cougette and we were still with 3 people. We were having nice conversations again with Fanny and another woman from Slovenia called Wisna. She went to the Faroe Islands with her son. He was in another part too. In the sun at the upper deck we decided we wanted to rent a hottub, so we did. We invited Fanny and Suzanna to join us. Unfortunatly Suzanna could not join, because she didn't have her swimming clothes with her. So after we had a fantastic view on the Shetlands Islands and a nice lunch the 3 of us went in the tub. It was very nicely warm, almost hot and salty water. And from the tub we had a fantastic view over the oceaan. And we werd like amazed that of is possible to be in a hottub in the middle of the ocean and really loving our life. The ferry arrived at 11 in the evening. We asked Fanny to come with us to couchsurf on our couch in our campervan. Fanny has been hitchhiking thru scandinavia for like 5 weeks and didn't really had a place to stay jet. We said goodbye to Suzanna, who asked us to visit her place. So we definetly do that. The campside was really nearby and also a bit crowded because all the campers from the ferry were on this campside. But in the end we could all sleep very well.
