This was the Africa trip that we had been planning to do for many years. We now had enough free time for a trip that would continue for a number of months and a vehicle that we hoped would be up to the job of exploring Africa. We eventually ended doing a trip that took us through Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ruanda, and then back via Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana. The highlights were many and varied and took in the Nyika Plateau in Malawi, the Serengeti and Masai Mara in Tanzania and Kenya, Lake Victoria, the Nile River, Murchison Falls and the Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda, Akagera National Park in Ruanda, Katavi National Park in Tanzania and finally Mabuasehube in Botswana for good measure. The trip was written up at the time but we have now decided to put it on to Pindat.
